How to purchase a teleprompter

There are two kinds of systems. They are based on flatscreen LCD monitors. Since we include software in every system we sell, the choices are as follows:

1. Decide if you need a camera prompter, a speech/podium prompter, or stage prompter

2. If camera prompter, consider your tripod/head payload capability
     --Supports 20lbs/9kg All AVD CamMount prompters 12"/30cm-15"/38cm
     --Supports less than 10lbs/4kg Consider a stand-alone 15"/38cm prompter

There are three kinds of monitors used in prompter systems:
     1. VGA-input monitors, as utilized in AVD's 15"/38cm CA series and AV15HB
     2. Composite video input monitors, as in AVD's 13"-20"/33cm-50cm CV series
     3. Dual input VGA and Composite/S-video as in our AV12SB and AV12HB prompters, built by AVD
